Medical Director
Dr. Tedd R. Puckett, MD, (Board certified Eye Surgeon)
Dr. Puckett graduated Magna Cum
Laude at the University of Denver in 1984 with majors in Biology and Chemistry
and a minor in Mathematics. He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services
University of the Health Sciences at Bethesda, Maryland. He completed a
medical/surgical internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver,
Colorado. Dr. Puckett completed his Ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in 1993.
Dr. Puckett practiced comprehensive ophthalmology at Fort Stewart, Georgia
from 1993 to 1999. During this time he became a Diplomate (Certified Specialist)
of the American Board of Ophthalmology, completed a Fellowship training in
Diseases of the Retina and Vitreous and was certified by the American Board of
Eye Surgery with specialty in cataract surgery.
Dr. Puckett has been in private practice in Southwest Virginia since 1999.
Offices are located in Christiansburg and Wytheville. He continues to practice
comprehensive Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology including treatment for
cataracts, retinal, vitreous, glaucoma and pediatrics.
Dr. Puckett. is currently serving as a Director of the Virginia State
Medical Society of Ophthalmology (VSO).
Alice Conway, CSEP
AliceConway, CSEP is the Director of
the Event Management Program at Stratford University in Virginia. Ms Conway
received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education from
The University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music and is pursuing her
doctorate in Higher Education Administration.
She is one of 300 event professionals internationally to hold the Certified
Special Events Professional designation from the International Special
Events Society (ISES). She is the founder and past president of The Greater
Washington Chapter of ISES, the largest in the world, and has served for
years either on their Board of Directors or the Advisory Board. She was
recently honored for her twenty years of service to the special events
industry both nationally in Atlanta, GA and again in May at both the ISES
April Gala and the May President’s Dinner of the local chapter.
She is the former president of ISEF, the educational foundation of ISES, and
has served on the ISES International Board of Directors, and was a founding
member of the Search Foundation, also serving on Search’s international
board of directors. She has taught and lectured at universities
internationally including those in Korea, the Philippines and Canada, as
well as The University of San Diego, The University of Southern Oregon,
Temple University, The University of the West Indies, The University of
Arizona and American University. She also has trained the staffs of many
different corporations and associations including General Dynamics
Corporation, Little River Casino, United Way, Veterans Affairs
Administration and Capitol One. Ms. Conway has written much of the course
material used in the Event Management programs at The George Washington
University as well as Stratford University. In addition she is a harpist,
and is President of a special events management company, BB&C Productions,
Inc, producing events for both national and international clients. She is in
demand as an industry speaker nationally and presents regularly for The
Special Event, Event Solutions and Event World Conferences. Her clients
currently include several Ritz Carltons, The St Regis, The Army Nurse Corps
Association, Marriott Corporation, AIPAC, International Monetary Fund, and
the Newseum.

Toni Reinhart spent over twenty years in the computer
industry as an IT training manager.
During the dot com bust of 2001 she re-evaluated her career choices and went
looking for a way to become in involved in her community while working at
something that would make a positive difference in people’s lives.Her search led her to Comfort Keepers, a company providing in-home care
to the elderly and disabled.
She felt her considerable managerial skills and empathy for people would be a
good match for a home health care company.
Ms. Reinhart founded her Comfort Keepers office in Herndon,
Virginia in the fall of 2001.
Since then, she has grown her office to sales of over one million dollars a year
and won the 2007 Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce’s award for Outstanding
Mid-Size Business.In addition to
helping over 100 seniors and disabled adults a week stay in the comfort and
security of their own homes, she devotes many hours to charity and community
service work.Ms. Reinhart has
chaired the very successful Loudoun Senior Expo for the last two years, the
Alzheimer’s walk for Loudoun county,
the first Arthritis Walk in Western Fairfax County, and co-founded the Women’s
Networking Lunch of Herndon – which has spawned numerous women’s groups in
Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.Ms.
Reinhart spends her spare time skiing moguls with her husband, William, with
whom she shares a home in Reston with their dog and two cats.
