Are you craving bread? Many people who start on the Ideal Protein diet have cravings for things that they are used to having with their meals. There is a change in mindset and food choices that has to happen with this diet but there are things you don’t have to give up! Bread is one of them. We have a great recipe for Naan bread that you can make and eat without the guilt of traditional bread baskets.

Ingredients:
1 package of Ideal Protein Potato Puree
2 Egg Whites (1 egg white if large egg)
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp oil
¼ Tsp Cumin seeds
¼ Tsp Onion seeds
2 ounces of water (more if needed)

Directions: 
Mix all of the above ingredients. The mixture should be the consistency of pancake batter. Spray a non-stick pan with olive oil spray and pour the mixture into round shape and ½ inch thick. One packet makes two small naans or one large.  Cook each side for approximately 2 minutes or until they begin to turn light brown in color and are cooked throughout.
