Corporate Wellness Company Adds Individualized
Weight Loss/Wellness/Massage Center in Leesburg for the Public

ALDIE, Va., January 1, 2010--Jennifer Seven, founder and president of 7Company®, a five-year-old successful corporate wellness company in Loudoun County, announces that the company will open a weight loss and wellness center for individuals in Leesburg on January 4, 2010.  The street address is 11 Catoctin Circle NE, Leesburg, VA.

Ms. Seven hired Jo Ann Junk to run 7Company® Weight Loss, Massage and Wellness Center with the goals of assisting men and women reach and maintain a healthy weight for maximum health and to improve total wellness through mind, body and spirit.  Ms. Junk has 20 years experience helping individuals attain and maintain their weight loss goals.

Speaking about the impetus for creating the center, Ms. Seven reports, “In the corporate environment that we serve, we have seen how obesity and stress affect employees and employers by ever higher medical costs, insurance premiums, loss of productivity and increased absenteeism.”*  She adds, “I saw a need to offer weight loss assistance along with stress reduction to people struggling with these issues – with a focus on women. As a business owner, wife and mother, I understand that women are under so much pressure to balance their paid work and manage their families that their own health and wellness tends to be ignored.”

The unique aspects of the new center are that programs will be affordable and client centered. That is, the staff will work with clients individually, examining their lifestyle and guiding them to make appropriate choices to improve their health.  Offerings that are part of the program as well as a la carte include stress reduction services such as therapeutic massage and stress management techniques, healthy cooking demonstrations and seminars and workshops that cover how to read food labels, how to get your family “on board,” grocery store tours and more.

“Jo Ann and I have planned a program with customizable choices,” Ms. Seven adds. “Choices enable the client to play a large part in the selection of what they want their program to be – a huge feature that shows them that they are responsible for the outcome.  We wanted a program that is different than any other on the market by including the client in the design of their own program.”

Operating hours will be 9 am - 9 pm, Mondays through Fridays, and 9 am - 3 pm on Saturdays. During January, the enrollment fee will be waived. To learn more about the center, contact Jennifer Seven at (703) 791-1717, or toll free at 1-888-AT-SEVEN or e-mail. Website is:  www.7Company.com

The U.S. Office of the Surgeon General reports that “overweight and obesity are associated with heart disease, certain types of cancer, type 2 diabetes, stroke, arthritis, breathing problems, and psychological disorders, such as depression.”

The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute adds:  arthritis, gall bladder disease, gynecologic problems, and even lung problems to the above list.
