"This really IS the last diet" - Karen Thompson I've tried so many diets over the years I can't tell you: Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutri-System, Atkins, South Beach, Fit for Life, even one called F-Plan fiber diet. I've been overweight ever since I had my first child at age 23. It seems no matter what I did I couldn't keep the weight off. That's not to say I didn't lose weight because I did. Each and every diet I tried, I lost weight. My problem was, I couldn't keep it off. When I found the Ideal Protein Diet, recommended to me by my sister who was successful, I was just about ready to give up. There were no clinics in my area, so I signed up with Ideal To Go. I started the diet in January of 2009, after making yet another News Year's Resolution. My family, who had been through this with me before, probably thought this was just another fad diet. I'm not sure I didn't think that myself at first. But the first month on the plan I lost 18 lbs! OMG! I went from 160 to 142 in just under 30 days. I know I must have frustrated my coaches at Ideal To Go with questions, but they were always patient with me and answered every question I had. Over the next 2-1/2 months I lost the rest of weight I wanted to, another 22 lbs. I was 120 lbs! It had been 16 years since I weighed 120 lbs. My kids are amazed. My husband looks at me much differently than he has in a long time. <grin> The best news is that now, almost a year later, I'm still at 120 lbs. I have lots more energy than I've had in a very long time. I'm enjoying life like never before. We went on a cruise late last summer and you can't believe how happy I was shopping for swim suits!
