7Company brings you A Great Phase 1 Ideal Protein Recipe

This is a great recipe to ensure that you are getting your vegetables into your diet while on the 7Company diet during Phase 1.  Enjoy this delicious recipe.
Tabbouleh Salad Recipe
■1 – Cauliflower Head
■5 – Medium Mushrooms
■3 – Small Dill Pickles
■1 – Celery Stalk
■1 – Cucumber
■1 tsp Minced Garlic
■1 – 1/4 Cup Diced Red Onion
■1 tsp Olive Oil
■1 tbsp Horseradish Mustard
■1 tbsp of White Vinegar
■Pinch of Chives
■Chopped Basil to taste
■Sea Salt to taste
Dice or coarsely chop all the ingredients and put them in a mixing bowl. Add Mustard, Vinegar, Oil, then sprinkle with sea salt. Mix it all together and enjoy.
Note: Play around with this recipe and have fun with it. Use the ingredients and directions as a starting point. You can also add protein to this salad, such as grilled chicken or tuna.

64 Ounces of Water Daily

On the Ideal Protein protocol it is very important to get 64 ounces of water in a day.  That can seem like a lot of water!  Here’s some tips.  If you use plastic, disposable water bottles, label them one through eight.  You’ll know that you need to finish all 8 by the end of the day.

Do you get bored with water?  Try slicing some lemons and put them in a pitcher of water in the refrigerator.  You can also substitute lemons with cucumbers for a refreshing taste.  Other ideas would be to steep some home-grown mint for 15 minutes, scoop out the leaves and pour the mint water into a pitcher.  Let it cool and then store in the refrigerator.  Yummy.

Other ideas, get some of the flavored Sweet Leaf Stevia and put in your water.  Great flavors like root beer, lemon, peppermint and more.

Stay away from the artificial sweetners and Crystal Lite.  Remember, no diet soda.
