Everyone loves a pumpkin spice latte in the fall! Unfortunately, chances are that what ever pumpkin spice latte drink your favorite coffee shop is selling doesn’t match up with the Ideal Protein weight loss diet. Don’t worry! We have a tasty and easy to prepare pumpkin spice latte recipe to share with you that will keep you on track with your diet while fulfilling your pumpkin spice craving!


Here’s what you’ll need:
  • 8- 12 oz hot water
  • 1 bag Black tea
  • 1 IP Vanilla Premix drink
  • ¼ tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice, or to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Once you have all of your ingredients ready to go, steep the tea bag, pumpkin spice and cinnamon stick in hot water to desired strength, usually 2-6 minutes. Then remove tea bag. Stir in IP Premix Vanilla. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg!

Easy Recipe – Egg Drop Soup!

The colder winter months are approaching, and what better way to keep warm on those chilly days then with a warm and tasty bowl of soup?  Famous Ideal Protein Chef Verati has shared flavorful and easy to prepare Egg Drop Soup recipe with us that will satisfy your taste buds and keep you moving towards your weight loss goal! This recipe stands out from egg drop soup that you can find in restaurants, because it doesn’t include flour or the high amounts of sodium. Give this healthy option a try!


For this Egg Drop Soup recipe, you’ll need:

1 1/2 pounds shrimp, cooked

4 egg whites, well beaten

4 packets Ideal Protein Chicken Soup, prepared

4 cups Chinese cabbage, sliced

4 cups green onions, finely chopped

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 teaspoons curry paste

1 teaspoon Chinese 5-spice powder

Once you have all of your ingredients, bring the chicken soup to a boil in a large saucepan. Add in the soy sauce, the 5-spice, and 1 cup of water. Return the soup to a boil. Mix  in the cabbage and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the green onions and shrimp.

Combine the egg whites with the curry paste. Return the soup to a simmer and quickly stir in egg mixture, making a circular motion with a spoon. The eggs will separate to form fine threads. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Pumpkin Pancakes – Ideal Protein

Start your day off right with this time-saving Ideal Protein Pumpkin Pancakes Recipe!

Fall is right around the corner, and that means pumpkins will be aplenty! Visiting the pumpkin patches and buying pumpkins is a favorite pastime for many people during the fall season. This simple and easy-to-prepare pancakes recipe is a great way to put all of those pumpkins to good use!


1 Ideal Protein Crispy Cereal

1 Ideal Protein Butterscotch Pudding

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or to taste)

4 to 5 Tablespoons of water (enough for desired consistency)

2 egg whites (one egg white for each serving)


In a magic bullet or blender, add crispy cereal, pudding and baking powder, and spices and blend. Divide in half (this is two servings) and save other half for another day.

To half of the mixture add one egg white and enough water for pancake consistency (around 4 to 5 T.)

Spray non stick pan with Pam and cook over a medium low heat. This will make two good sized pancakes. Serve with Walden Farms Pancake syrup and sprinkle with more pumpkin pie spice if desired.

Alternatives: Use banana pudding and take out the pumpkin pie spice.
