Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, fat removed
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. dried tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 bunches rainbow chard, ends trimmed, leaves cut into thin ribbons, and stalks sliced
  • Additional 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions:

  1. Warm olive oil in a large rimmed skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Place chicken thighs in the skillet and sprinkle with garlic powder, tarragon, 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
  3. Cook thighs for about 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through
  4. Once cooked, remove from pan and keep warm on a plate covered with foil.
  5. Add garlic and remaining red pepper flakes to pan and stir until fragrant, about one minute.
  6. Add chard to pan and toss with garlic and pan juices.
  7. Sauté for about 2 minutes or until chard starts to wilt.
  8. Cover pan and cook until chard is tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Season with salt an pepper and drizzle with lemon juice.
  10. Gently toss to combine.

Simple and Healthy Turkey Burger Salad!

Don’t miss a single barbecue this season! This Ideal Protein recipe brings forth the flavor of a delicious summer burger and gives it an Ideal Protein Phase 1-friendly twist! You won’t want to skip out on this turkey burger salad recipe!

Ingredients

  • 7 oz. ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 celery stalk, thinly sliced with a potato peeler
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. grapeseed oil
  • Sea salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  • In a medium sized bowl, mix together ground turkey and garlic powder; make a patty with the turkey (be careful, it’s fragile)
  • In a hot non-stick pan with grapeseed oil, add turkey patty and let cook
  • Meanwhile, place iceberg lettuce leafs on a plate
  • Once turkey burger is well cooked, place it on top of the iceberg lettuce
  • Layer cucumber slices and celery slivers on top
  • Cover it all with another iceberg lettuce leaf and green onions (the lettuce as a ‘bun’ to the sandwich)
  • Drizzle with olive oil and lime juice

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Ideal Protein Pancake
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1-2 tbsp. Splenda – depending on your taste and preference
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or 2 shakes
  • Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp. Ideal Protein Syrup/Walden Farms Pancake Syrup

Directions:

  1. Stir dry ingredients together and add enough water to make a pancake batter consistency -make sure it is not too runny.
  2. Add a dash of vanilla
  3. Pour batter into a non-stick pan to the desired pancake size, add a bit of oil and cool on medium heat until golden brown on both sides
  4. Serve hot with a tbsp. of Ideal Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 eggs and 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 of a chopped white onion
  • 1 cup of spinach, chopped

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Sauté the onions and spinach in 1/2 tsp. olive oil

Enjoy our Phase 1 friendly meal on the patio on a beautiful summer evening or inside at the kitchen table with your friends and family. It’s savory, and succulent, and simple to achieve!

Ingredients:

  • ¾ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ⅛ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp dried parsley
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 Tbs lime juice

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the first 8 ingredients.
  2. Sprinkle the mix generously on both sides of the chicken.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken until golden brown (about 6 minutes on each side).
  4. Sprinkle with remaining garlic powder and lime juice. Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently to coat evenly with sauce.
