Zucchini Apple Pie

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Friendly

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Zucchini
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp Walden Farms Apple Butter
  • 1 Ideal Protein Apple Cinnamon Puffs packet

Directions:

  • Peel zucchini.
  • Slice zucchini into 1/4 inch pieces.
  • Place the zucchini slices in a large bowl.
  • Soften the Walden Farms Apple Butter in the microwave for a short amount of time.
  • Add to these ingredients.
  • Add the liquid ingredients to the zucchini and  mix very well.
  • Place mixture in a pie pan.
  • Crush a packet of Ideal Protein Apple & Cinnamon
  • Puffs. Spread this out as top layer of the “pie”.
  • Bake, uncovered for 30 to 45 minutes at 350dgrees.
  • Check to be sure the pie does not burn.

Basil Lime Chicken

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Friendly

Ingredients:

  • 3 Limes (juice & zest)
    divided
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup Extra virgin
  • Olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 6 Green onions chopped divided
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • Minced divided
  • 2 Tbsp Basil chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 Lbs Chicken breasts

Directions:

  • Combine the zest and juice of 2 limes, 1/4c. olive oil,
    mustard, soy sauce, 3 chopped green onions, 2 garlic cloves, salt
    & pepper. Mix well.
  • Cut chicken into even cutlets and place in a gallon-sized bag.
  • Pour marinade over the chicken and marinate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat Grill.
  • Place chicken on grill and grill for 7 minutes.
  • Flip and cook until the internal temp reaches 170 degrees.
  • Remove from grill and let the meat rest.
  • Combine juice and zest of 1 lime with 2 Tbsp olive oil and
  • Remaining green onions, garlic and basil. Pour over cooked chicken.

Cucumber Tabbouleh Slaw

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Friendly

Ingredients:

  • Slaw portion
  • 1 Cup sliced/diced peeled cucumbers
  • 1 Cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 Cup shredded curley parsley
  • 2 Long stems diced green onion
  • 2 Long stems diced chives
  • ½ Cup diced peppers (red, yellow, and/or orange)
  • ½ Cup diced tomatoes

Directions:

  • Mix all vegetables and herbs together.
  • Blend dressing ingredients together.
  • Pour dressing over vegetables and toss gently to coat all.

Tropical Fruit Punch

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Friendly

Ingredients:

    • 1 packet of Ideal Protein
    • Branched Chain

Amino Acids

  • Sparkling water
  • Zero-calorie Coconut

 

Flavoring (optional)

  • Water
  • Ice
  • Lemon / Lime (optional)

 

Directions:

  •  Mix one packet of BCAAs with 3 ounces of plain water.
  • Add 4 ounces of sparkling water.
  • Add zero-calorie coconut flavoring.
  • Stir
  • Serve over ice with optional lemon or lime, in a glass or
    mix with ice in a blender before serving.

Ideal Protein approved Salsa

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Friendly

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Tomato diced
  • 1 Cup Red pepper diced
  • 1 Cup Cucumber diced
  • 1/4 Cup Red onion finely diced
  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro minced
  • 2 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper minced
  • 2 tsp. Ideal Salt

Directions:

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours to allow all flavors to combine.
  • Serve with Ideal Protein Nacho, Sweet Chili, or Ranch Dorados.

Meatballs & Tomato Sauce

MEATBALLS:

  • 8 oz. ground chicken/turkey
  • ¼ tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 T. green onions, chopped
  • 1 T. cilantro, chopped

Mix all the ingredients. Roll into small balls and cook in oven at 350 degrees or air fry until golden brown.

SAUCE:

  • 2 C crushed tomatoes
  • ¼ tsp. oregano
  • ¼ tsp. rosemary
  • ¼ tsp. thyme
  • ¼ tsp. basil leaves
  • ¼ tsp. IP salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tsp. olive oil

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic until brown. Add crushed tomatoes. Add remaining ingredients and cook on medium heat until sauce is thickened. Add meatballs.

Double Chocolate Bread

Ideal Protein Phase 1 friendly

  • I pkt. Ideal Protein chocolately mug cake
  • 1 pkt. Ideal Protein chocolate pudding
  • 1/3 C. egg whites
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. Stevia
  • 2 T. Walden Farms chocolate syrup
  • 2 T.  milk
  • 2 T. water
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Cooking spray

  •  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare a small loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine dry ingredients.
  • Combine wet ingredients and fold into dry ingredients, mix well.
  • Pour into loaf pan.
  • Bake 17-19 minutes.

 

 

 

Mockamole

Ideal Protein Phase 1 friendly

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ C. asparagus, skinned and cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 T. lime juice
  • ¼ C. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ C. green onion, chopped
  • ½ jalapeno pepper, minced
  • 1 tsp.  garlic, minced
  • Dash of hot sauce or ½ – 1 green chili
  • Salt and pepper
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder

Directions:

  • Clean the asparagus by using a potato peeler to peel off the tougher outside skin of the asparagus stems; not the tops of the spears.
  • Once cleaned, cut asparagus in 1-inch pieces.  Make sure to cut off the tough ends and toss.
  • Place asparagus in a steamer on the stovetop and steam, covered, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Put steamed asparagus in a food processor and puree until smooth.  Cover and refrigerate till cool.
  • In a medium bowl, place cooled asparagus puree and the remaining ingredients; fold.
  • Keep refrigerated after use.

Blueberry Upside Down Cake

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Friendly

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Packet of Ideal Protein Blueberry muffin mix
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1 Egg separated yolk from white
  • 1 oz. Milk or half-n-half
  • 2 tsp. Grapeseed oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Ideal Protein Maple Syrup

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Sift blueberries out of muffin mix.
  • Add the sifted out blueberries and the maple syrup to a bowl and let soak for at least 30 minutes.
  • Add baking soda and baking powder to remaining muffin mix.
  • In a deep bowl, beat egg white until soft peaks form.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolk, oil, and milk together. Add muffin mix and blend until smooth.
  • Fold egg white into a smooth batter.
  • Spray a small baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Place blueberries and syrup at the bottom of the pan.
  • Gently spoon batter over the top of the blueberries and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Cool for 15 minutes and then invert onto a plate and serve
