Pumpkin Spice Latte

If there is one fruit and one drink that is synonymous with fall, it’s pumpkins and the infamous pumpkin spice latte. With their round, slightly ribbed and deep orange skin, pumpkins are a very versatile food and have great nutritional value! They go great in soup, they make delicious pasta dishes, they make delectable pies, and they make rich and savory drinks!

Everyone loves a pumpkin spice latte in the fall! Unfortunately, chances are that what ever pumpkin spice latte drink your favorite coffee shop is selling doesn’t match up with the Ideal Protein weight loss diet. Don’t worry! We have a tasty and easy to prepare pumpkin spice latte recipe to share with you that will keep you on track with your diet while fulfilling your pumpkin spice craving!


Here’s what you’ll need:
  • 8- 12 oz hot water
  • 1 bag Black tea
  • 1 IP Vanilla Premix drink
  • ¼ tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice, or to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Once you have all of your ingredients ready to go, steep the tea bag, pumpkin spice and cinnamon stick in hot water to desired strength, usually 2-6 minutes. Then remove tea bag. Stir in IP Premix Vanilla. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg!
