Meal Planning on the Ideal Protein Diet

Proper Meal Planning is an Important Component of the Ideal Protein Diet

The Ideal Protein diet differs from the typical diet. It takes a holistic approach and focuses on  your entire lifestyle.  You receive one-on-one coaching, weekly weigh ins and nutrition education. This high-protein, low-carb diet allows you to lose weight without losing muscle mass. If you stick to the proper meal planning, meal spacing and follow along with eating the correct Ideal Protein foods, you’ll be on the express train to your best body!

7Company gives you the right tools to help you lose the weight. We offer the Ideal Protein packaged food along with a list of other foods you are allowed to eat such as select vegetables and dinner proteins. During Phase 1 of the diet you’re allowed to eat 1 Ideal Protein package for breakfast,  1 package for lunch along with 2 cups of select vegetables, 1 Ideal Protein snack each day and for dinner you can have 8 ounces of lean protein along with 2 cups of select vegetables. The select vegetables can range from asparagus to cauliflower and the dinner proteins can range from chicken to fish. If you plan out your meals for the week ahead of time, that will also help keep you on schedule. See the complete list to see everything you can eat.

The timing of when you eat is crucial. It is important to space out your meals so your blood sugar level remains at an even number and doesn’t spike and fall throughout the day. For example, if you eat your breakfast at 9:00AM, you’ll want to have lunch around 12:30PM and dinner at 6:00PM.  You are allotted 1 restricted package that you can only eat before 2:00 PM. Also make sure that you are drinking lots of water throughout the day. When the clock strikes 8:00PM, you’ll have to stop eating for the night.
